Program Support/Special Projects

Pamela Meade is the President/CEO and uses her management skills to coordinate Designs for Learning operations, spearhead strategic initiatives, and create systems and procedures for DL's core services. She was a Business Manager with Minneapolis Public Schools, and for three Charter Schools (including a founding staff member), and past work experience working with US Dept of Energy in Contracts and Compliance.  As well as leading the Designs team, she assists schools with customized training aimed to build charter school internal capacity and self-sufficiency.  She has also been working with the Indian Health Services providing Evaluation and Program support for Domestic Violence, Drug, and Suicide prevention programs in Arizona.
 
Pamela has a Master’s Degree from Westminster College in Professional Communications and a Master of Science in Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution (MSCM). She has worked in the fields of legal compliance, contract negotiation, project coordination, grant management, and school finance.
